1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. Update 3/1/12 – Frequently asked questions:
Q- why do you pull those fuses?
A- to reset the pcm WITHOUT disconnecting the battery
Q- why don’t you disconnect the battery?
A- that could potentially cause hvac actuator failure, moreso in the older ones like my 03…YOU can reset the pcm however you want to in yours:)
Q- can I pull the fuses and then clean the throttle body?
A- absolutely!
