If there is on advantage to having multiple F80 M3s at my disposal, it would be comparisons. In this video I compare my wife’s 2015 M3 with unmodified stock exhaust to my own 2015 BMW M3 with the exhaust mod. The exhaust valve mod involves opening the vales in sport plus mode and then shutting off the car to leave them open. You then disconnect the wiring harness from the valve actuators behind the outward exhaust tips. This prevents the M3 or M4 from closing the valves at all. They’ll be open at all times. This mod will work on the F80 M3, F82 M4, or F83 M4 convertible all the same.
