Monitoring for various factors such as soil moisture, temperature and humidity along with other factors can be of significance. A traditional approach to measure these factors meant individuals manually taking measurements and checking them at various times. This paper investigates a remote monitoring system using Zigbee.The controller ATMEGA328 monitors sensor inputs continuosly and displays on the 16X2 LCD. The buzzer is also interfaced with the microcontroller to give alert whenever there is critical situation. It also sends these parameters to remote PC wirelessly using zigbee module.
We are using different loads such as FAN, Lights, Sprayer, Water Motor pump which are automatically controlled based on corresponding sensor parameter values.
