1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.

3.Main Technical Parameters

(2)Handspike movement is relatives to the temperature range of the element, and the effective distance range is from 1.5mm to 20 mm.
(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.
(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

In this video, I demonstrate the steps required to repair a common problem with the factory radio in a 2003 Honda Accord. The symptoms of this problem include a loss of the radio backlight, as well as the backlights for the HVAC controls, such that neither are visible at night.
I have to credit YouTube users “mitch cox” and “HiTechElectronic” for providing the information I used to make this repair. Please also check out their videos, as I found them extremely helpful. My motivation for creating my own how-to video for this repair is to simply provide all of the information in one tutorial, including the removal, repair, and re-installation of the factory radio. In my initial searches for a solution to this problem, I did not find any videos that contained all of the information in one clip. I hope that this video will be helpful to some of you who have experienced this issue with the 2003 Accord.

The project is to design a control system to regulate the temperature and lighting for a comfortable room for human use. We used a light bulb as a heating source wrapped in aluminium foil powered by 120V through a 12V relay which is powered by a transistor which is powered by the 5V output from the board. The fan used to cool the room is powered by a 12V power supply which is powered by another transistor. The temperature is measured by a 2K thermistor and the LEDs are measured by a 10K photocell. We used the set point temperature as 25.6 degrees Celsius for example purposes.
