8 Year Exporter TU-1F07 thermal wax actuator for thermostatic automatic water drain valve for Portugal Manufacturers Detail:
1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.
2. Characteristic
(1)Small body size, occupied limited space, and its size and structure may be designed in according to the location where needs to work.
(2)Temperature control is reliable and nicety
(3)No shaking and tranquilization in working condition.
(4)The element doesn’t need special maintenance.
(5)Working life is long.
3.Main Technical Parameters
(1)Handspike’s height may be confirmed by drawing and technical parameters
(2)Handspike movement is relatives to the temperature range of the element, and the effective distance range is from 1.5mm to 20 mm.
(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.
(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

Attention! Another way of cleaning it – it is much simpler, but be careful not to lose any parts. Look below – the comment from Rod. Thank you Rod!
And here’s the video on how to clean valves without taking unit out:

If you have one of these cars, and your car has fair bit of mileage, then you might get a common problem, so called week point of this model – CLIMATE CONTROL! It gives you full heat no matter what temperature you set…
When it goes wrong, you’re getting full heat, no matter what temperature is set on your dashboard.
I had same problem with this car, and I fixed it!
I won’t guarantee that this will solve everyone’s climate control problem, but I know for sure – this is common, so I believe majority of viewers will find this video helpful.
One more thing – if you can’t pull it out of bracket, without breaking it – undo the bracket… Have fun

This is a basic setup of a basic garden watering system. This test is to see how the relays drive the water solenoids, checking the performance of the solenoids and power designs for driving them.
Yep, I can see the leaks, and they’ll be fixed when installed properly
The next versions will include carefully placed ground moisture sensors (hygrometers) for each of the 5 ‘channels’/garden beds, so that that bed is checked and only the dry ones are watered. This will be tied into a real time clock and an ambient temp sensor, so watering only occurs at dusk and/or dawn, (with allowances for daylight savings) to reduce water wastage via evaporation.
