After realizing we needed a linear actuator to draw a syringe to take a fluid sample one day before the competition we quickly made our own. We used a couple spare VEX angle bars, a threaded rod, a couple custom machined acrylic blocks, a 7.2V motor, and two limit switches to prevent over extension.
