1. Operation Principle

One of my 3rd year microcontroller lab projects was to realize a temperature control system using an 8 bit, 80c51 family chip.
The schematic contains the 80c51 uC, 0801 analog-digital converter, LM35 temperature sensor, 2 line LCD, a bulb and a fan as heater/cooler device. The system is also capable to send continuously the temperature value read from the sensor via RS323 port. The LCD display shows two values, Temp, which represents the temperature received from the sensor, and Set, which is the reference temperature value, and it can be modified using the + and – buttons. To emulate a virtual serial connection, i used the Virtual Serial Port Driver software from Eltima, and visualized the output data in Termite 2.5. The video shows how the simulation works. One of the reasons is that basically all of this units have the same issue and is hard to get a TCM or a valve body that has not been contaminated with coolant. So I take action and try to save the TCM when possible. Sometimes it doesn’nt work but we always give it a try. The more you drive this transmission contaminated, the less chancess of survival…So please, as a praventive measure, replace your radiator or install an external cooler and bypass the radiator…If you live in a very cold zone, then replace your radiator.
