1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.

(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

This is an old vid from when I was still in Pa back in January. We had a big snow (not the first or last either) and I went to go play in the snow, but my 4wheel drive didnt work, it just popped the 4×4 fuse every time. To check to see if its your actuator popping the fuse, simply unplug the actuator, replace the fuse, and try again in 4×4. If the fuse doesnt pop, your actuator is bad, and needs replaced. Its a common problem on these trucks, and on the s series blazer 94 and up, it has a vacuum servo under the battery tray that goes bad…..ask me how I know, LOL! Anyway, trying to get around to putting up all the vids I made since the move back and havent put up yet.
