1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.

3.Main Technical Parameters

(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.
(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

Now, in today’s manufacturing world, there’s no reason to be afraid of hydraulic leaks—a properly designed, maintained and plumbed fluid power system won’t have leakage problems. But, let’s be honest: there are still people out there for whom hydraulics can be a dirty word.
The engineers at Cleveland-based HydraMotion have changed the conversation a bit with their new linear actuator, an evolution of hydraulics that is geared toward use in farming, medical equipment, landscaping, industrial manufacturing, commercial transportation and even recreational vehicles.
So the first thing you notice about this cylinder is that is has no ports. Nowhere to connect it to your hydraulic system. That’s because you don’t. It’s completely self contained. It’s truly leak-proof because it is a sealed hydraulic system. All you do it wire it into your electrical system. And you’re done.
Inside this baby is a self-contained miniature pump that’s bi-rotational and obviously very compact.
Now on to some specs:
This has a Load capacity to 2500 lb and there are 3 electric motor options.
The exterior is aluminum
It has a variable stroke length from 4 to 48 in. This is about a 19-in. model.
The speeds are up to 2-in. per second
Ambient operating temperature range from -20° to 110° F
