    Wireless Sensor Networks have got importance for monitoring and control of systems. We propose to design a system which includes real time wireless remote sensing and controlling of temperature. Variation in the temperature is recorded in the GUI (MatLab) and proper controlling action is taken. The choice of automatic as well as manual control will be added to the design. We are going to use an Arduino Uno (Atmega328) microcontroller to interface the digital temperature sensor DHT11, 2 Xbee modules (coordinator and router), & a relay. The data which we are going to take from the sensor will be recorded in MS-Excel for particular duration and after plotting the graph it will be flushed out. In this design we will define a fixed temperature level. When the system crosses that level, the functioning of the motor driver and alerting system will be initiated. We have decided to use Xbee because it has a wide range of communication and also it consumes less power.
