1. Operation Principle

The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.

This video shows the actual replacement of a Price Pfister bathtub valve seat. While the video could have been edited to make it considerably shorter, i wanted a video that showed the whole process of replacement from the realistic point of view of someone who had never done such a repair before. At the end of the video, I commented that a slight drip seemed to remain and that I intended to replace the seat on the right side as well. However, after a short time, the dripping stopped altogether and the valve on the right side did not need replacement.
