Hot Selling for TU-1F91 thermal wax actuator for thermostatic automatic water drain valve to Orlando Manufacturer Detail:

1. Operation Principle

The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.

2. Characteristic

(1)Small body size, occupied limited space, and its size and structure may be designed in according to the location where needs to work.

(2)Temperature control is reliable and nicety

(3)No shaking and tranquilization in working condition.

(4)The element doesn’t need special maintenance.

(5)Working life is long.

3.Main Technical Parameters

(1)Handspike’s height may be confirmed by drawing and technical parameters

(2)Handspike movement is relatives to the temperature range of the element, and the effective distance range is from 1.5mm to 20 mm.

(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.

(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.

(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

  • Once the UDS reaches the pre-set temperature the blower turns off. The blower turns back on when temperature drops by a few degrees, then turns off once the temp goes up again just like a thermostat although much more sensitive. This cylic on/off switching of the blower serves to regulate the temperature inside the drum to within +/-3 deg-F for hours on end, as long as there’s enough charcoal in the fire basket. A temperature probe goes through the side of the drum and serves to sample the actual temperature inside drum.

An alarm sounds off once the temperature drops by about 20 deg-F from the set point and this prompts me to add more charcoal. The set point for the alarm automatically follows the temp setting on the knob; there’s no knob for the alarm set point. Now I can sleep without worrying about my cooking. :)

The analog meter serves as a rough (un-calibrated) indication of the UDS temperature. I put it there cuz I had one lying around. Not really happy with it cuz I get more resolution from my digital thermometer.

Analog electronics reside inside the small black box. The temperature can be set anywhere from 180 deg-F to 300 deg-F by turning a knob. LED indicators for power and blower on. Alarm enable/disable switch. The black box is magnetically-mounted to the side of the drum for quick & easy mounting & de-mounting (no screws). Power is supplied by either a wallwart or a 12v battery and the unit is reverse-polarity protected, less than 2 watts power consumption.

after I installed this controller I never have thick dark smoke coming out of my UDS anymore and the temperature is REALLY constant now. No more guesswork and tweaking of the air vent holes which take a long time to figure out and varies with ambient temperature.

Here, we’re covering an idle speed issue on a Grand Marquis. This video goes along well with chapter 20 in my book “Idle Speed Controls”, but also specifically covers Ford scan data and minimum idle speed adjustment. The testing methods shown will apply to most Ford systems that utilize a two wire IAC valve, as well as other 2 wire IAC valves used by other manufacturers.

    Engine Performance Diagnostics chapter 20

    Symptoms
    – high idle speed
    – check engine light (P0507)

    Fix
    – adjusting minimum idle speed

    Tests shown
    – understanding the meaning of a P1000 code and how to inform the customer about it
    – using scan data to diagnose an idle issue
    – how to identify a misadjusted base idle screw using TPS signal
    – how to adjust minimum idle speed on a Ford
    – how to use IAC duty cycle to determine what the computer is trying to do with the idle speed

    Tools used
    – scan tool
