1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.

3.Main Technical Parameters

(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.

High output torque, high speed, high duty cycle, high accuracy, low power consumption (motor only activates when position change is required), low maintenance. This design has become the industry standard for liquid pipeline pressure/flow control applications. Low deadband (0.05%), short deadtime (90 mS), with brushless servo motors (no limitation on starts/stops per hour). True system approved hazardous area ratings (not only component level approvals) – these have firm complete system approvals and the documentation to go along with it. Total oil volume in this high torque hydraulic system is 10 quarts (9.5 liters) – about 2.5 US Gallons. An electric actuator and gearbox in this torque range would contain more grease. Other EH type actuators would have at least 10X the oil – which would require routine maintenance – and continuously consume power.
