Arduino Project: Cheap Wireless 433Mhz Transmitter and Receivers

A quick-ish run through of what I have started to do with the little £5 wireless transmitter and receivers that are like these – https://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/Grove_-_433MHz_Simple_RF_Link_Kit – just with a different board architecture but it seems the same components. I can send and receive multiple string and integer values and display and store the data.

The transmitter has a 30-ish cm antenna (coiled) and the receiver has a 25-ish cm (monopole) antenna of solid core wire.

Parts:

2 x Arduino (I used a Mega and an UNO)
Wireless transmitter
Wireless Reciever (linked above)
Tellymate shield
A bunch of wires
2 x small breadboards
1 x Sonic Sensor
1 x potentiometer

Here is the code if you would like to take a look.

I don’t have a Patreon or a donate thingy, I get by fine. That said, if you are mega rich and fancy donating something I would find useful they feel free to check out my Amazon wishlist (No pressure) – https://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wishlist/29JZFQUC2NZ8V
