1. Operation Principle

Called the screw rail, these assemblies include both the rotary-to-linear subcomponent (in the form of the screw) and the linear rails to essentially handle radial, axial, and moment loads. In fact, some versions also include support frames for the screw … so engineers can get the design in versions up to eight feet long … without any worries about screw whip or vibration.
