Customized Supplier for TU-1H02 thermal wax actuator for thermostatic radiator valve to Plymouth Manufacturer Detail:
1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.
2. Characteristic
(1)Small body size, occupied limited space, and its size and structure may be designed in according to the location where needs to work.
(2)Temperature control is reliable and nicety
(3)No shaking and tranquilization in working condition.
(4)The element doesn’t need special maintenance.
(5)Working life is long.
3.Main Technical Parameters
(1)Handspike’s height may be confirmed by drawing and technical parameters
(2)Handspike movement is relatives to the temperature range of the element, and the effective distance range is from 1.5mm to 20 mm.
(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.
(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

The Radiator was not working due to the Stuck TRV ( Thermostatic radiator valve). Sometimes it is possible to Release the valve by pulling the pin up with a plier. First remove the head. ( if you dont know how to remove the head – see how to replace a TRV head in our video) Be careful not to catch your fingers to the plier when it slip from the pin!. Carefully grab the pin with the plier and pull it up.Once you release the pin, move it up and down several times to ease the operation. run the central heating on and feel the radiator worming up. ( if it doesnt call the plumber… sorry..:) ) Now fix the head back, and call it a day..
Here is the link for the control unit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ATFEWPU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00ATFEWPU&linkCode=as2&tag=three04-20
This particular one is for an Oldsmobile Alero, but that link will also take you to the automotive section of amazon where you can search for the unit to your vehicle. Amazon is generally the cheapest place to buy car parts online.
Let me know if that link stops working.
If the air conditioning in your car only blows out in one direction, such as the defrost, or at your feet, or head, and no matter what way you turn the knob it always stays at that one particular setting, you need to change the A/C Control Unit. (The potentiometer has gone bad.) This is an easy fix. If you know how to plug and unplug electronics you can manage this DIY project.
