Factory For TU-1D05 thermal wax actuator for industrial thermostatic water regulations mixing valve to Argentina Importers Detail:
1. Operation Principle
The Thermostatic Wax that has been sealed in shell body induces expansion by a given temperature, and inner rubber seal part drives its handspike to move under expansion pressure to realize a transition from thermal energy into mechanical energy. The Thermostatic Wax brings an upward movement to its handspike, and automatic control of various function are realized by use of upward movement of handspike. The return of handspike is accomplished by negative load in a given returned temperature.
2. Characteristic
(1)Small body size, occupied limited space, and its size and structure may be designed in according to the location where needs to work.
(2)Temperature control is reliable and nicety
(3)No shaking and tranquilization in working condition.
(4)The element doesn’t need special maintenance.
(5)Working life is long.
3.Main Technical Parameters
(1)Handspike’s height may be confirmed by drawing and technical parameters
(2)Handspike movement is relatives to the temperature range of the element, and the effective distance range is from 1.5mm to 20 mm.
(3)Temperature control range of thermal wax actuator is between –20 ~ 230℃.
(4)Lag phenomenon is generally 1 ~ 2℃. Friction of each component part and lag of the component part temperature cause a lag phenomenon. Because there is a difference between up and down curve of traveling distance.
(5)Loading force of thermal wax actuator is difference, it depends on its’ shell size.

We thought the water heater in our brand new motorhome was totally dead. But there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with it! We simply made a mistake in using our RV’s water system. Don’t make the same mistake we did!
On April 11, 2014, we marked 11 years of full-time RVing. After all this time, we’ve learned an awful lot about how live in an RV and manage its systems. But that doesn’t mean we haven’t made mistakes.
As we look back on all the miles we’ve traveled and places we’ve been, we remembered one of our very first newbie mistakes. We want to share it here, in the hopes that we can save someone else from going through the same thing.

Full-Time RVers since April 11, 2003, we share DIY (do it yourself) RV maintenance, repair, travel, upgrade and operational tips & tricks.
While we’re not RV technicians, we’re very mechanically inclined and have learned a lot about RV systems over the years. We’ve handled most of our own minor service, maintenance and upgrade work on both of our RVs.
We meet lots of newer RVers who are eager to learn some basics about using, maintaining and caring for their rigs. After more than a decade on the road, we’re happy to share what we’ve learned (some of it the hard way).
We hope our experience can help other RVers go DIY, saving time & money while experiencing the satisfaction of a job well done. We’re handy RVers, not professional technicians. We’re happy with the techniques and products we use, but be sure to confirm that all methods and materials you use are compatible with your equipment and abilities. Regardless of what we recommend, consult a professional if you’re unsure about working on your RV. Any task you perform or product you purchase based on any information we provide is strictly at your own risk.
We sometimes receive products for evaluation at no cost, but our opinions are our own and we only feature products we personally use, love and can recommend to friends with complete confidence. I had the “Service 4WD System” message appear on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (5.7L Hemi with Quadra-Drive II). I checked the wiring from the Final Drive Controller (under the rear seat cushion) and verified the front axle actuator wiring and solenoid were OK (14 ohms across the solenoid wiring) but the rear axle actuator solenoid wiring was open circuit. I checked the resistance at the axle connector and it was also open circuit so the rear axle cover would have to come off. Replacing the actuator solenoid and wiring fixed the problem!
Here are the Jeep Part Numbers:

52114003AF ACTUATOR, Axle Locker, [DSF] Only
These should be available through any Chrysler dealer (my order took about a week to come in in November 2011).
